London Sales & Sponsorship Manager

Salary Competitive + Bonus
Part Time: 20 – 26 hours per week
Temp to Perm: 3 months to the end of time
Location: London, UK – working from home with coworking in Brixton

Responsibilities

You’ll work to:

  • Build relationships
  • Meet realistic sales targets
  • Maintain contact databases
  • Maintain relationships with industry-specific businesses
  • Look for regional opportunities in the UK markets
  • Clearly understand the marketplace & competition
  • Work with the team at large on lead generation
  • Keep approved advertisers on brand
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable to assure invoices are paid by deadlines

Position requirements

  • Must love film & TV
  • Working knowledge of Google & Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of Excel & Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of Trello, Riot, and Slack
  • Working knowledge of the film industry
  • Past experience working in digital/print sales
  • Past experience working for a publisher
  • Experience working remotely
  • Ability to manage own diary & schedule
  • Working laptop & phone
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent reading & listening skills
  • At least 2 years’ sales experience with proven track record meeting targets
  • Past experience working in print advertising sales
  • Motivation to close deals
  • Outgoing personality
  • Little black book filled with advertising agency contacts, brand relationships, past partners, and future partners

Education

We prefer candidates who have studied marketing, business, or PR.

You possess:

  • Typing speed of 45 WPM or more
  • Working knowledge of iOS
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Trello, Excel, and Slack
  • Great interpersonal skills: you could sell ice to Inuits
  • Operations, administration, and customer service experience
  • Desire to work in the film industry OR film biz experience
  • Desire to work at a fast-paced startup

  • Great time-management skills
  • Both organization and strong attention to detail
  • Love for the internet: you live on the internet
  • Experience working with company director(s) previously

You’ll be working online with occasional office days in our coworking space in Brixton, London. We can consider applicants outside London for candidates willing to travel to London at least 3 days per month.
